Osterreichische Volksbanken AG has received a €100 million ($86.28 million) MIGA guarantee for a shareholder loan to expand the operations of its wholly owned subsidiary, Volksbank Romania S.A. The coverage offers protection against the risks of transfer restriction, expropriation, war and civil disturbance, and breach of contract. Facultative reinsurance of €35 million was obtained.
